Hoarding Cute Dragons in Meta Toy DragonZ Saga

There's a new game coming from MarbleX. It's a gacha tower-building game where you collect toy dragons, expand their home, and compete in battles. Think of it as a mix between a collectible idle RPG and a strategy autobattler, but with Web3 integrations.

- Core loop: expand your dragon tower, open gachas, and build stronger teams.
- Main appeal: collecting a wide variety of dragon designs.
- Playstyle: entirely auto-battle, you don’t control the fights directly, but you customize and prepare your squad.

The tutorial was longer than I expected, but surprisingly effective. By the end of it, I had a solid grasp of tower-building, dragon upgrades, and gacha mechanics. The tutorial helped out a lot in covering what's needed.
Gameplay Overview
There are four main game modes currently available.

1. Exploration (PvE)
This is the standard campaign where you farm resources and progress. Honestly, the story didn’t grab me. I skimmed through most of it, but it serves its purpose for grinding resources.

2. Arena (PvP)
PvP is a big deal here, especially if you’re aiming to climb the leaderboards for rewards. It’s competitive to grind above Bronze. Preparing your team well is the real challenge.

3. Day Dungeon
This mode is quick and runs on changing dungeon themes. You'll be grinding this to obtain skill enhancements for your dragons.
There are ten different floors that you can grind up to. But you only have a basic 2 entries per day (with additional entries through watching ads or in-app purchases). With a powerful enough team, you'd still need a few days to climb to the top floor.

4. Boss Raid
My favorite mode. You unleash huge squads of dragons against towering bosses. Similar to Day Dungeon, you only have a basic 3 entries per day (with additional entries through watching ads or in-app purchases).
Even though it’s still autobattle, the scale of the fights feels satisfying. It's a unique mode that I don't see much in other gacha games.

Gacha System & Dragon Collection
If you love the thrill of pulling gachas, MetaToyDragonZ delivers. There are multiple gacha types, and the toy dragon designs are creative enough to keep you coming back for more.

Personally, opening gachas was far more exciting than following the story.

There are five levels of Dragon rarity
- Legendary (orange)
- Unique (purple)
- Rare (blue)
- Uncommon (green)
- Common (white)
Web3 Features: Focus on Magnite Forge
Being part of the Immutable blockchain ecosystem, the game integrates Web3 elements. The core seems to be about the Magnite Forge, which has resources you can obtain:
- Magnet Block is earned through gameplay
- Magnite is tradeable on the Immutable chain for other tokens

For those into the play-to-earn side of web3 gaming (I know there's a lot of you), mastering how to mine Magnite efficiently will be the difference between just playing for fun and maximizing rewards.
Final Verdict: Is MetaToyDragonZ Worth Playing?
After one week of grinding, here’s my takeaway:
✅ Play MetaToyDragonZ if you:
- Enjoy collecting cute dragon gachas
- Like optimizing teams for autobattles
- Want to chase leaderboard rewards in the Immutable Play campaign
❌ Skip it if you:
- Need a strong story to stay invested
- Prefer hands-on, action-based combat over autobattlers
- Don’t care about collectible gachas or blockchain rewards
For me, the thrill of gacha pulls and the leaderboard grind kept me engaged. The big question, though: Do you see yourself enjoying dragon gachas in the long term, or would you rather collect the typical waifu gachas?
Right now, I’d recommend jumping in while the Immutable Play campaign is active. If you have yet to register for the Immutable Play, you can do so with my referral link HERE
